About the Awards
The annual AAMC/GIA Awards for Excellence recognize outstanding work
by members of the Group on Institutional Advancement and their staff members.
The awards acknowledge the most creative and effective approaches used
to promote academic medicine in the United States through alumni, development,
public affairs, public relations and marketing programs and products.
Awards are bestowed as the Award for Excellence, the GIA's highest honor,
or as an Award of Distinction. Award-winning work provides a resource
for GIA members.
The Call for Entries is announced each fall. Submitted entries are judged
by previous winners in the following categories:
