Basic Science Education Special Interest Group (SIG)
With over 200 participants, the Basic Science Education Special Interest
Group (SIG) provides an arena for discussing topics relevant to teaching
of the basic sciences. Issues addressed by the SIG include:
- Impacts of curricular reform and renewal on basic science education,
- Integration of the basic and clinical sciences across all four years
of the medical school curriculum,
- And implications of the merging of basic science departments on faculty
teaching and development.
