2008 AAMC Annual Meeting33rd Innovations in Medical Education (IME) ExhibitsOctober 31 - November 5, 2008 - San AntonioPlease read the following information in its entirety for complete instructions:The Innovations in Medical Education (IME) exhibits have been held in conjunction with the AAMC Annual meeting for the past 32 years. The exhibits provide a venue for the exchange of ideas and activities in medical education. Participants are invited to exhibit work still in progress and innovations recently introduced. IME Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. They are not peer reviewed. In order to participate as an exhibitor REGISTRATION FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING IS MANDATORY. Submission and exhibiting process: The 2008 submission process will continue to allow exhibitors to pay online and choose their own booth space through our electronic system. To participate in the 2008 IME Exhibits at the AAMC Annual Meeting, please read the following IME requirements and complete the electronic application. As a part of the electronic application process, you must submit a description of your exhibit. The exhibit descriptions will be distributed in CD format as in years past. The exhibitors will be listed in the AAMC Annual Meeting Program. The IME Exhibit description CDs will be available to all conference attendees at no additional cost. Submission Deadline is August 15, 2008. Requirements: Exhibits must be set up by 7 p.m., Saturday, November
1, and must remain assembled in the exhibit hall space until 1:30 p.m.,
Monday, November 3. All exhibitors must register for the AAMC Annual
Meeting. Unregistered individuals will not be allowed to enter the
IME exhibit area. There is a separate fee for the IME booth and the Annual
Meeting registration. Every exhibitor must pay both fees in order to participate
as an IME exhibitor. Booth Information: The cost is $300 per 10' x 10' exhibit booth (does not include Annual Meeting registration). Each booth includes the following: 6' x 3' draped table, 10' backdrop, 3' side dividers, two chairs, and carpeting.
