Faculty Roster
This database generates tables on the annual distribution of U.S. medical
school faculty by department, school, rank, ethnicity, degree, gender,
primary specialty, and tenure status. The trend data includes: gender
and ethnicity of U.S. medical school faculty; U.S. medical school faculty
members by degree and department; and tenure status of U.S. medical school
faculty members by degree and department. For more information, e-mail

Faculty Salary
Survey Reports (AAMC Login required)
Allows individuals affiliated with AAMC-member institutions and other
AAMC constituents to access faculty salary report tables. These tables
are identical to the tables in the AAMC annual report on medical school

Personnel Policies (AAMC Login required)
This database contains information on appointment, promotion, and tenure
policies of all LCME-accredited U.S. medical schools. Data come from an
AAMC survey administered to U.S. medical schools every three years. For

Institutional
Policy Search Tool (AAMC Login required)
This database enables staff at AAMC-member medical schools to find and
compare institutional policies on a wide variety of important topics such
as: governance and bylaws; faculty policies such as appointment and tenure;
research policies such as conflict of interest; and business policies
such as patenting and intellectual property. For more information, e-mail

Medical School
Profile System (MSPS) (AAMC Login required)
MSPS is an AAMC-supported database that houses descriptive data reported
by 125 U.S. medical schools. MSPS contains current and historical data
pertaining to medical school revenues and expenditures, student enrollment
and faculty counts, curriculum, capital expenditures, student financial
