Due to the wide range of backgrounds and interests of individuals who work on faculty affairs and the rapidity of change in the area, an informal communications network has evolved and continues to be an optimal means for finding answers to questions and sharing experiences, both successful and unsuccessful. In order to answer questions posed by faculty affairs professionals, the advice of colleagues at other institutions seems to be most helpful. The Group on Faculty Affairs Representative Directory and the Group on Faculty Affairs Listserve both facilitate such communication.

Please direct any questions and suggestions to Valarie Clark, Director of Faculty Development, vclark@aamc.org, 202-828-0586.
