Regional Medicine-Public Health Education Centers - GME
(RMPHEC-GME)
In 2008, the Regional
Medicine-Public Health Education Centers initiative expanded
to incorporate Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs. A Call
for Proposals (PDF, 4 pages) was released in the fall
of 2007, seeking at least six residency programs who would receive
funds for public health/population health activities in their curricula.
From a field of 40 applications, these 13 residency sites representing
the spectrum of medical specialties, were selected for the current
RMPHEC-GME pilot:
