The application deadline for this meeting has passed. Next year's
meeting will take place December 11-14, 2010 at the Westin Kierland.
The Mid-Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminar is
a three-day program designed for women associate or recently promoted
full professors with clear potential for advancement to a major
administrative position such as section or department head.
Seminar objectives are to:
- Visualize potential paths to leadership and develop career
plans to advance towards that vision
- Enhance skills in communication, especially with public audiences
and media
- Improve knowledge of institutional finance and departmental
budgeting processes
- Expand networks of mentors and colleagues in academic medicine
Program Cost: $1220 online, or $1270 for registrations that are
fax/mailed. Please do not make any travel or hotel reservations
until you have been accepted into the program.
