The 2009 Group on Business Affairs and Group on Institutional Planning Joint Spring Meeting will highlight many of the unique and innovative programs and processes at our institutions. Join your friends and colleagues for professional development workshops, plenary sessions, breakout sessions, networking, and social opportunities.

The Group on Business Affairs–Human Resources Interest Group will be sponsoring a pre-conference on April 22. There is a separate registration fee for this meeting. You do not need to attend the GBA/GIP meeting to attend the pre-conference.

Who Should Attend:


Staff of medical schools, academic health centers and teaching hospitals who have responsibilities in the areas of:

    • Institutional administration, with particular emphasis on financial planning, operations and departmental management, human resources professionals
    • Traditional campus planning functions such as regional and land-use projects, facilities planning, space allocation and management, strategic planning, program and business planning, or institutional planning.
