Mount Sinai's Robert Desnick, M.D., Becomes AAMC Chair
Robert J. Desnick, Ph.D., M.D., professor and chair of the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, has begun his one-year term as chair of the AAMC Executive Council. Dr. Elliot Sussman, of Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network, was named chair-elect. (Nov. 4, 2007)
2007 AAMC Award Recipients
The AAMC awarded national recognition to nine individuals and one teaching hospital for their outstanding contributions to academic medicine. (Nov. 3, 2007)
