MED-ED Listserve

The MED-ED listserve is for developers and users of medical education software in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education. Discussion focuses on courseware, authoring tools, evaluation criteria and methods, and other infrastructure and technical issues.

The MED-ED listserve encourages discussion about integrating both commercial and faculty-authored materials into the medical school curriculum. However, it is not intended for advertising commercial courseware or authoring products.

How to Subscribe


Send an e-mail to majordomo@aamcinfo.aamc.org. Type the words "subscribe med-ed" in the body of the message and leave the subject line blank.

You'll be notified by e-mail when your request has been fulfilled.

MED-ED Listserve Archives


The MED-ED listserve archives are available upon request by subscribers only.

After you are subscribed to the listserve, you can receive by e-mail a list of all topics that have been discussed on the MED-ED listserve, by e-mailing the following message to majordomo@aamcinfo.aamc.org

get med-ed TOPICS

To receive the archived discussion any topic on the list, e-mail the following message to majordomo@aamcinfo.aamc.org

get med-ed med-ed.nnnn
(where "nnnn" is the number specified in the topics list for that topic)

You can request the archive of several topics in a single e-mail, but you must to repeat the "get med-ed..." command line for each topic that you request, and you must send the request from the e-mail address under which you are subscribed.
