Completing and Submitting your FAP Application

Take the following steps to successfully complete and submit your FAP application.

  1. First, complete the FAP Application. You will be required to enter both biographical and financial information about yourself, your spouse (if applicable), and your parent(s) or guardian(s) (if living). Make certain that the information you enter is correct, as supporting documentation may be required later in the process.

    Tip: Once you've finished entering your information, print a copy of your FAP Summary Report for final review by yourself and those whose information you have entered. Also, be sure to click "Help" on any page within the application to view additional information.

  2. Submit your FAP application.

  3. Log back into your application to determine whether your request has been denied, or if you are required to submit documentation in support of your request.

  4. If we've requested documentation in support of your FAP application, make certain that you forward all relevant documentation to the address listed on the FAP Supporting Documentation Cover Letter. Please also be certain to include all required signatures, including your own, your spouse's (if applicable), and your parent's or guardian's (if living).

  5. Once we've completed processing your application, we will send a notification regarding your eligibility for fee assistance to the e-mail address you indicated in your FAP application.
