Diversity Initiatives
The AAMC is working to increase diversity in medical education and advance
health care equity in the U.S. Our efforts are in three general areas:
-
Diversifying the Applicant Pool
Early enrichment and intervention programs for high school and college
students considering medical school
-
Serving Applicants and Medical Students
Programs and services for students applying to and in medical school
-
Supporting Medical School Faculty and Administration
Programs and services for faculty, staff, administrators of medical
schools, and medical school graduates
