Canadian Graduation Questionnaire (CGQ)
The CGQ is a national questionnaire administered annually to graduating Canadian medical students in collaboration with the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada.
FACTS - Applicants, Matriculants, and Graduates
FACTS tables provide free and comprehensive data on
medical school applicants, matriculants, and graduates.
GME Track
A resident database and tracking system designed to assist GME administrators
and program directors in the collection and management of GME data.
Matriculating Student Questionnaire (MSQ)
A national questionnaire administered annually to U.S. matriculating
medical students assessing approximately 40 items covering a wide
variety of topics including premed experience, the medical school
application system, why someone chose medicine, and career goals.
Medical School Graduation Questionnaire (GQ)
Administered annually to graduating U.S. medical students, this
questionnaire assesses more than 200 items covering a wide variety
of topics, including educational experiences, student support programs,
and potential problems including harassment.
Pre-MCAT Questionnaire (PMQ)
The AAMC administers the PMQ annually to those registered to take the MCAT exam. The PMQ seeks to better understand the experiences and future plans of those considering medicine and other health and science careers.
Survey of Resident/Fellow Stipends and Benefits
Drawn from the responses of AAMC-member teaching hospitals, this survey
lists national and regional average stipends.

Development Survey and Reports
Assists medical school and teaching hospital leaders in assessing
the effectiveness of institutional fundraising.
Discoveries and Innovations in Patient Care and Research
A database of many of the milestones in medical knowledge and practice
achieved at member medical schools and teaching hospitals.
Faculty Roster
Supports national policy studies by collecting comprehensive information
on the characteristics of paid faculty members at accredited allopathic
U.S. medical schools.
The Faculty Roster system also populates the
Medical School Faculty Online Directory.
Medical School Profile System (MSPS)
The MSPS is a database and
reporting system designed to compare medical schools in a number
of financial and other areas.
Organizational Characteristics
Information on a number of salient dimensions about the organizational
characteristics of medical schools and their affiliated teaching
hospitals.
Tuition and Student Fees Reports
Details each institution's tuition and fee charges.
U.S. Medical School Revenues
These tables and graphs summarize data on all accredited U.S.
medical schools from the LCME Part I-A Annual Financial Questionnaire
administered by the Division of Medical School Services and Studies
(DMSSS) at AAMC.
Published Reports
AAMC Data Book
The AAMC Data Book provides current and
historical data related to U.S. medical schools and teaching hospitals.
Published annually as a bound publication, interim updates
to the Data Book are posted to the subscribers-only Web site.
Analysis in Brief
This fact sheet covers a wide range of topics affecting medical
schools and teaching hospitals, including trends in faculty, revenues,
curriculum, and admissions. "Analysis in Brief" is published
several times per year.
