The Medical School Canadian Graduation Questionnaire (CGQ) is a national questionnaire administered by the AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) in collaboration with the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC).

The CGQ was first administered in 2001 and is critical to helping Canadian medical schools make improvements to the future of medical education. The CGQ includes questions related to the following:

  • Demographic data
  • Clinical experiences
  • Professionalism
  • Specialty and career planning
  • Student services
  • Mistreatment
  • Finances

This survey requires students to log in using their AAMC ID. The responses to this survey include personally identifiable information; however, students are given the option to consent to release their identifiable information back to the medical schools.
