Outpatient PPS
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) November 27,
published in the Federal Register a final
rule that contains changes to the outpatient prospective payment
system (OPPS). Changes to the OPPS payment rates will take effect
January 1, 2008.
The AAMC has prepared a summary and analysis
and has submitted a comment
letter on the proposed
rule.
