CY 2010 Medicare Outpatient PPS
On August 31, the AAMC submitted a comment
letter on the calendar year (CY) 2010 Medicare hospital outpatient
prospective payment system (OPPS) proposed rule.
On July 20, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
posted in the Federal Register [74 Fed. Reg. 35232] its CY
2010 proposed
rule that contains changes to the OPPS as well as proposed payment
rates for Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASCs). If finalized, changes
to both the OPPS and the ASC payment system will be implemented
