Medicare Inpatient PPS

 

Current Status

FY 2010 Medicare Inpatient PPS

On June 30, 2009, AAMC submitted a comment letter on FY 2010 Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) proposed rule.

On May 22, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published in the Federal Register its fiscal year (FY) 2010 Medicare Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) proposed rule. The proposed changes, if finalized, will be implemented October 1, 2009. Comments are due June 30. More>>

The AAMC has prepared a summary and analysis and will be submitting comments on the proposed rule.
