The conference agreement on the FY 2005 Labor-HHS-Education appropriations bill retains the extramural salary cap on NIH grants at Executive Level I ($180,100 in 2005). More >>

Research Resources
AAMC proposes significant funding increases for NIH research resources programs, including up to $100 million annually to support acquisition of shared instrumentation, the level authorized by Congress.
