Janaury 16, 2004 - The House and Senate will return to Washington Jan. 20 to convene the second session of the 108th Congress. Both chambers are set to meet at noon. The first order of business for the Senate will be to resume consideration of the conference report to accompany H.R. 2673, the FY 2004 Consolidated Appropriations bill, with a vote on the motion to close further debate on the conference report scheduled to occur at 3 p.m.
