December 12, 2003 - Rep. Ernie Fletcher (R-Ky.) resigned
from the House of Representatives Dec. 9 to become Governor
of Kentucky. First elected in 1999, Rep. Fletcher is a family
physician and served on the Health Subcommittee of the House
Energy and Commerce Committee.
