Klausner to Leave NCI

Richard Klausner, M.D., announced Sept. 11 his intention to resign his position as director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to become the founding president of the Case Institute of Science and Technology on Oct. 1. Dr. Klausner has served as director of NCI since 1995 and will remain affiliated with the institute as an intramural researcher.
