Hyman to Leave NIMH

Steven Hyman, M.D., director of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), announced Oct. 29 his intention to step down from his current position to become Provost of Harvard University. Dr. Hyman has been director of NIMH since 1996.
