Shuster Wins Pa. Special Election

Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) won a special election May 15 to win the House seat his father, Bud Shuster (R-Pa.), resigned in January. Bill Shuster, a car dealer from the Altoona area, was sworn in on May 17. The current House party breakdown is 221 Republicans, 210 Democrats and 2 Independents, with 2 vacancies.
