House Appropriations Names New Subcommittee Members

Both Republicans and Democrats have finalized House Appropriations subcommittee assignments. The Labor-HHS-Education subcommittee will have four new members; three Republicans and one Democrat. The new Republicans on the subcommittee are Reps. Kay Ganger (Texas), John Peterson (Pa.), and Don Sherwood (Pa.). Rep. Patrick Kennedy (R.I.) is the new Democrat on the panel. The complete Labor-HHS subcommittee roster is:

Roger Wicker (Miss.)
Anne Northup (Ky.)

The VA-HUD subcommittee will have three new members: Virgil Goode (I-Va.), Robert Aderholt (R-Ala.) and Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.). The complete subcommittee roster is:
