Both Republicans and Democrats have finalized House Appropriations subcommittee
assignments. The Labor-HHS-Education subcommittee will have four new members;
three Republicans and one Democrat. The new Republicans on the subcommittee
are Reps. Kay Ganger (Texas), John Peterson (Pa.), and Don Sherwood (Pa.).
Rep. Patrick Kennedy (R.I.) is the new Democrat on the panel. The complete
